Sherrie Miller Named CADM's Emerging Leader

Chicago, IL -- CADM, the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing, has announced the first recipients of its EL (Emerging Leaders) Award, created to salute marketers who show uncommon promise in strategy, creativity, and innovative thinking. Sherrie Miller, Diamond Marketing Solutions’ Print Production Manager has been named to the list of 11 recipients.

CADM president Scott Reeves said, “CADM created the EL Awards to introduce Chicago to a new generation of men and women who stand out in the marketing industry. We anticipated an inaugural class of strategic thinkers and creative achievers whose initiative and output could be measured by the judges. What we didn’t anticipate, but what the judges highly prized in the finalists, were the inspirational qualities the winners bring to their colleagues and clients and their generous mentoring of newer associates. Sherrie’s career in the traditional print industry began before she finished high school in Elgin, Illinois. After taking CADM’s popular Basic Course, she quickly and enthusiastically embraced direct marketing strategies, progressing from print buyer to senior account manager to print production manager, all the while providing the company’s clients with strategic direct marketing solutions. Responsible for more than $10,000,000 in print solutions, Miller’s clients include DePaul University, Verizon, and Lettuce Entertain You. She brings leadership to the account and sales team, bringing new ideas and innovations in print production. The agency’s president, Greg Waite, said, “Sherrie contributes to the executive management of Diamond Marketing Solutions and mentors her staff with energy, patience, dedication and creativity.
